"I had a wonderful stay at Newport Student Village! It was only a short 10 minute walk to central Newport and if you walk 5 more minutes you will be at the bus station which will take you everywhere you need to go. The room lacked decoration but that was something I expected as the facility is used to house students. I did have a bathroom, so that was a pleasant surprise! The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. I would 100% stay here again! "

Overall the property is fine, but the bed quality needs attention."

"We have just returned from a two day stay at Two Rivers, Chepstow. Our room was small but clean. The room was next to the entrance door and we experienced a lot of noise when the door opened and closed. My husband twice requested an extra pillow but it never materialised. We ate in the restaurant on both nights. The food was very nice but we had to chase the waitress for our desserts on both occasions. "

"On arrival at 5.45pm was told that would need to eat at 6pm as was too busy later on, 2nd evening was a curry event so had to travel out both evenings for food. Was told breakfast was u till 10am however it finished at 9.30am. Was told checkout on the Saturday was 10am however it was 11am on weekend, also housekeeping entered our room at 9.10am to clean we hadn’t even had our breakfast delivered which was due at 9.45 and was cold. "The staff were lovely and attentive. Our room was spacious and in good condition, with almost everything we needed. There is a bus stop into the city centre nearby which was helpful for us. We enjoyed breakfast too. The coffee pod machine in our room was leaking, and we were onky provided with decaf pods which was a shame. There was also only one robe provider despite it being a booking for two people."
