“We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout.
Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room……

I’ll start with the room:
No cushions on the chairs outside. It was a lovely day, but there weren’t any comfortable chairs to sit on outside.
No blankets or extra pillows.
No floor lamps (I couldn’t see to read in the bedroom while sitting in the tiny chairs by the window).
One piece of tissue left in the dispenser.
No washcloths.
Hair conditioner in the shower but not the bathtub.
No toiletries to speak of (just some unsanitary cotton pads and Q-tips in a jar) and a small bottle of……

“Warm staffs and nicely designed hotel. The only issue is that there’s a bar or restaurant downstairs so you can still hear the loud voice at midnight.
Though everything was good, compare with nearby hotel with similar conditions, it’s a bit over priced ”
