It was for us difficult to find. But the the restaurant had an excellent cuisine. The chef was a professional. We did not expect such good meals. It was truly a big and unexpected surprise.
Staff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!
The place is magical! I have never seen so many stars at once light pollution is minimal, and you can even hear stags from the nearby woods. A true heaven for hikers, simply something special. The people we met (I presume the owners) were very kind. Access to the kitchen is great. The room was basic, as expected, but the bed was very comfy to my liking. This place has massive potential with some investment, they could easily charge double for these rooms. I would definitely stay again.

Friendly service, good food, but not top notch on clienliness.
Ariundle is one of a kind! Kate and Laura were incredible hosts and went well beyond the call of duty. One of our party left their passport when we left and Laura was so supportive and helpful. The room was excellent, older but clean and the beds are comfy, and the food at the tea room, wow!!!!!
It was nice and warm, the mattresses could do with upgrading and tv,s that work but the staff were awesome, especially the girl who makes the awesome cakes there especially the scones and i told her so.it is in the middle of nowhere so is hard to find but once there its stunning. Plus we were very lucky to witness a pair of eagles fly over us.
We booked a room a few weeks prior to our trip, upon arrival we were assigned the self contained flat with its own kitchen! We were delighted.
The area is gorgeous, very remote and peaceful, with lots of scenery within easy walking distance.
All of the staff were lovely, very friendly, as were the other guests we came across. Great knowledge of the local area and walk / shop suggestions.
It's a great base in this part of Scotland, we got up early to go and see the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the location let us get there early!
Next time I travel to the Fort William area I'll definitely be staying here again!
The lady who I spoke to was really lovely as we were running late but we were still able to access the room. This was a very appreciative from a very exhausting climb. Only disappointment is that we didn’t get to try the home cooking.
Spent my weekend at the Ariundle Centre Bunkhouse in mid September.
The place was busy enough, but not crowded.
Met friendly people, enjoying a variety of activities.
Made a new friend.
Really appreciated the helfulness of the Ariundle Centre volunteers.
After my first night, I discovered I had acquired a screw in my tyre.
And I was assisted with good advice and the offer of a trolley jack, which made the tyre change quick and straightforward.
That gesture allowed to save a lot of time!
Also, I really appreciated the Ariundle people's hospitality and responsiveness.
I will definitely stay here again in the future.

This is a great place located around a mile or so from Strontian, off the beaten track. I had the twin (bunk bed) room in the bunkhouse next to the kitchen. Room was clean, tidy with a separate toilet, shower, sink. The TV and Freesat did not work (no channels) but frankly that didn’t matter as the weekend was about getting away from the Rat Race. Bed was small (but I big), but comfortable. The sound of a babbling brook, the smell of wood smoke and stars in the dark sky at night was enough entertainment for me. Kate, Colin and the young man in the Ariundle Centre next door were all friendly and welcoming. The Ariundle Centre is a real gem! Highly recommended!
Room was absolutely top notch. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was full of amenities. Owner was a delight, wonderful woman! There's a restaurant and tearoom as well maintained by the owner. coffee and food was delicious, specially her handmade scones!
Highly recommended.
They don’t give proper or clear advice on when is the last ferry. We did not stay at this hotel not that we hadn’t paid not that we didn’t call in time but we did all that telling them that we will only be back from the Ben Nevis trek after 11:30pm however they did not tell us that the last ferry to the hotel was 9:30pm. We called the hotel to inform them of the late arrival and all they said was thanks for letting us know and we will have everything ready for you. After the gruelling climb at 1 am looking for another hotel was a task and a half as the area was sold out - APPALLING DONT STAY
Restaurant was very nice, food was very good, but the room was not very clean. Staff was friendly. Whole area was very natural.

The rooms are spacious but with really basic furniture. Beds ok, bathroom definitely needing some renovation… the washbasin is really small and positioned at kids height ( probably this is a scouts lodging area..) , shower and the rest really in poor conditions. For a one night stay the location is ok , but it is definetely overpriced. Dinner was good but we had to wait 1.5 hour for a simple vegetable crumble…
This is a very rundown property with limited amenities. The Yellow Bunkroom was tiny and the bathroom was very old. A neighboring dog barked throughout the night. The pictures were very obviously taken many years ago.

We ended up not staying there because we were told "no rooms available".
