"This is a lovely hotel in a great location in the old city of Ronda, just a few minutes from the new bridge. The staff was incredibly helpful. The room was small but pleasant and we were able to walk to everything. A great base for exploring Ronda. FYI: it's called the "Hotel San Gabriel" on the signs. If you're looking for parking, it's in a paid lot about a quarter mile from the hotel off the town square."

"Really lovely place to stay. Central to all the sights to see in Ronda. Very nice lady greeted us at reception and showed us to our room. The staff had WhatsApped me a couple of days beforehand asking what time I’d arrive. Really useful to have the number as the reception isn’t manned 24 hours. Pity we couldn’t stay 2 nights as it was booked up when I realised we needed a second night. Pool looked good (although I didn’t swim). "It was a very quaint but great place to vacation! With a wood burning stove and sheep just out the door, it was country quaint. The food was great and there was lots of hiking & horse riding to be had. Our host was great and we had no complaints!"

Also SO enjoyed walking into Arriate - a real town, near Ronda, but away from the overwhelming tourist scene to be found in its more "famous" neighbor. "This is a great place to stay in Ronda. It's a few km outside the city center, which means that it's quiet and there's free parking. Most of the places in the city charge for parking, often a lot. This hotel is a large mansion, situated in farm country, and it has an elegant vibe. Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly Elena, who seems to do everything. Breakfast is good, but there's only one vegetarian option for dinner (a salad)."
