“Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on.”

“Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened.”

“What a place, accomodation is excellent, plenty of room to be together, but also plenty of room to find some peace and quiet! The party barn is a real bonus, rspecially if the weather is not too good, and there’s a cricket pitch (or football) right in front pf the property…can’t think of a downside…Fantastic Time was had by all”

“During our stay we had plenty of time to take in the amazing views and due to the great location go on long walks. Drove to Hadrian’s wall and completed a great but challenging (for me) walk all our party completed with a well deserved stop at sycamore gap. We prepared a lovely meal together 10 in our party in the barn and relaxed in the lounge with beautiful log burners. On Sunday we had a short walk to the local pub which we highly recommend. Kirk style inn at Knaresdale. The four day break...

“The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. Very well equipped for such a cosy space and the treats were much appreciated. Thank you ”
