“Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.”

Its location is also ideal, roughly halfway between Elafonissi Beach and the Balos Lagoon, making it a great base for exploring both. “We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning. The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned, Staff were nice and welcoming. In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!. In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed……

“The room and grounds are very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is still undergoing renovation regarding lighting so our room was all or nothing with lights. It was a little noisy in the morning as there is not much materials to absorb sound but not really a big deal. The person at the front desk was amazing. So helpful in booking a tour for us and also providing recommendation on things to see. The beach is a touch rocky in front the hotel area, but we were still able to get in……
