The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. The Villa is only a 15-20 minute drive to Chania. The pool was beautiful and clean. There are 12 apartments, and it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay which slept 6 people comfortably. Sandy was extraordinary and made sure we had what we needed. I would recommend bringing a small fan or two. The bedrooms were air-conditioned but not the main living area. We loved our stay. It was perfect for our vacation with our grandchildren. The house was equipped with everything we needed (including a crib for the baby and a high chair). It was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and a dishwasher (which was really helpful!). Beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had an air conditioner. We very much enjoyed the sunset beach bar down the street. It was a nice place to hang out with the children and enjoy lunch or a drink. We also loved Irene's for meals out (only 5 minutes away). Property manager was very responsive and communicative. Highly recommended!
