Alcântara Vacations from $932

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Private parking is easy, beautiful grounds and hotel which used to be an aristocratic residence. A bit of faded grandeur in places but still retaining a lot of elegance. There is a pool too. Staff friendly and helpful. Well located for the main Sintra sights, walk to Nat’l Palace and several good restaurants/cafes.

Beautiful property with magical sunsets. Excellent food and service

This place was everything I'd hoped it would be, and more. We stayed there for four nights during our 25th wedding anniversary trip. The room was incredible--large, clean, beautiful--a perfect retreat during our explorations of Lisbon's historic neighborhoods. Everything was within reach, especially if you like to explore on foot, and we quickly found our favorite hangouts and restaurants, all within a reasonable distance. It made hitting the hotspots easy but allowed for plenty of discovery too. The staff was amazing. We were always met by smiles and recommendations at the front desk, and we often partook of the cherry liqueur, water, fruit, and other snacks available to guests. Bruno, the bartender at the onsite bar Manny's, made our anniversary day by making his absolutely incredible twist of a popular drink, which came to our table beneath a glass cover filled with flavored smoke. When he found out it was our anniversary, he brought out a special free drink and toasted us. It was special. We don't often visit 5-star properties, and the attention and care we received at Santiago de Alfama was truly special. Definitely one we'll remember.

Close to the cruise terminal - approx 10 min walk. Very clean.

Great location, comfortable room, boutique atmosphere, very friendly staff... Breakfast a bit basic but fair
