“The standard of service was really good, from the young staff group especially those at reception and in food service.”

“A budget hotel but clean and comfortable and it was ideal for our overnight stay. The twin bedroom was a reasonable size and the bathroom was large with a walk in shower. There was a good choice of reasonably priced well cooked food for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Slight issue was the rather tired flooring in the bedroom and bathroom and minor maintenance problems. However we thought it was value for money and would stay again en route to our……

“Stayed at the Lily Pad for 4 years running, this time for 2 weeks, we didn’t need to go anywhere as all we wanted was to relax in a lovely setting, which we certainly did. We fished from the private jetty catching, roach, rudd, perch and a couple of pike. The hosts are perfect and ensure their guests are well looked after.”
