As a family of 4 with 2 young children we stayed here for 9nights

As a family of 4 with 2 young children we stayed here for 9nights. Everything was perfect, the villa was extremely well equipped, and you are spoiled for choice with the different outside seating arrangements. The pool was a great size and my 4 year old loved the shallow section with raised seating to play in. We heavily used the outside bbq/kitchen, which was perfect for keeping unwanted flies/ants outside. We experienced a power cut on our 2nd evening and messaged the host to clarify details, and within 15mins Juanh arrived at the villa and the issue was resolved. You are 6mins drive from nearest supermarket, bakers, bar, and a great choice of different restaurants. Extremely clean and gardens were immaculate. The photos listed do no give the scenery & gardens the true justice they deserve. Would definitely return.

Beautiful house with a stunning garden and pool area. Sunsets overlooking the mountains was a highlight. The interior of the house has a lot of charm and character although it’s overshadowed by the exterior which was nothing short of majestic.

The panoramic view across the valley and the hills is astonising. It is spacious villa with a beautifull garden and great swimming pool. Very nice and friendly owner, easy contact via WhatsApp. Very clean and well kept villa and garden.We could even stay a little longer on our departure day, since there was no successive rental.

Very enjoyable and relaxing 2 weeks in a lovely setting with beautiful views, especially at sunset. Lovely pool and outside space. Juan looked after us very well, making sure we had everything we needed at the property.Great restaurants nearby in the town. Very friendly locals speaking good English. 30 minutes to the nearest beaches. Playa Carvajal is one of nicest local beaches. We look forward to returning one day.

Outdoor space was fabulous and in such a quiet location too. Close enough to town, with an incredible selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Our hosts were super pleasant and friendly. Communication was excellent and we thank them for their hospitality. We visit the area frequently and are confident of a return visit to Villa Ruiz. Highly recommended...... No real requests for any improvements. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Excellent !

A big villa, with a beautiful garden, overlooking the mountains. A stunning view from the good sized pool, which is right of the overroofed terrace of the house. Good privacy and security, the whole of the terrain is fenced in. Very nice owner, who came almost immeadatly, when there was a very slight problem with the airconditioning. Nice TV and good WIFI, although the range of the WIFE might be a bit better. (good on the terrace, further down in the garden at the end of the pool sometimes disconnecting). The owner doesn't speak English, but with all the translating apps nowadays, and a son who does speak it, this should not be a problem, it wasn't for us. Everything is provided for, towels, sheets, good kitchen aquipment. When driving the road to the villa is small, but no problem, we managed with a big stationcar. Definetly a place to come back to, I would certainly recommand. Also the personal of Cubo's, the rental office in Alhaurin, was very friendly, helpfull and they spoke several languages.

"Nach dem Treffen mit dem Hauseigentümer in Alhaurin el Grande (übrigens ein sehr nettes Städtchen mit kleinen Gassen, Häusern im andalusischen Stil und Restaurants und Bars wir waren positiv überrascht), hat er uns zum Haus begleitet und alles gezeigt. Das Haus war in einem perfekten Zustand. Alles sehr sauber! Der Eigentümer war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Hat uns sogar Mandarinen von den Bäumen hinter dem Haus geschenkt (sehr lecker). Das Haus liegt an einem Hang mit einem grandiosen Fernblick auf das Tal. Die Poollandschaft ist sehr schön, überall tolle und sehr gepflegte Pflanzen, Palmen und Hecken. Auf der überdachten Terrasse steht ein Tisch mit 6 Stühlen, der perfekte Sitz für einen wundervollen Ausblick zum Genießen. Auch im Haus war alles TipTop! Sehr gepflegte Betten und ausreichend Handtücher und Badetücher. Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt und können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen. "

Een mooi klassiek Spaans vakantie huis van alle gemakken voorzien! Mooi zwembad erbij, groot erf. De eigenaar is goed te bereiken voor vragen & als er iets is komt hij het meteen regelen. De keukenapparatuur is wat verouderd. Werkte opzich prima behalve de vaatwasser. Daar was de vaat niet altijd schoon.

prive zwembad. de ligging. eigen koelkast, eigen vriezer, vaatwasser en wasmachine. schaaltjes in de keuken voor kleine dingetje qua eten. scherpere messen om iets mee te snijden. map met tips in het huisje. als welkom een flesje wijn of id. geen kleedjes op de loungebank en tafel. zorgen dat alle lampen het doen buiten. Voor ons mocht er wel iets meer verlichting zijn bij het zitgedeelte buiten.

The views are exceptional. The property is large and from the covered veranda you get to survey the mountains in the distance over a spectacular. The airconditioning is really efficient and a life saver. The host is exceptionally attentive and responsive.
