"Very quiet country retreat that is 4.5kms from a made up road,about 7kms from the nearest town which takes about 25 minutes to drive because of the rough track from the Finca. When requesting the evening meal we were told in summer only a cold meal was served ,which consisted of good quality cold meats,sausage,cheese and bread with wine and water. There was only a verbal menu. The cost of the meal was between 50 to 60 € for two persons which I thought was a bit excessive but should have asked...

"Excellent stay! We used this place as a good stopping point for our first night when leaving Barcelona. So easy right off the highway, great parking, could walk to Almansa, grocery store nearby, wifi worked well, great & hot shower, clean room, nice staff. All the things a traveler hopes for and more. "The hotel is situated in a lovely rural location and therefore is peaceful and unique. We were met on arrival and offered a drink, then shown the room followed by a gentle stroll to the swimming pool. We had arranged for dinner, bed and breakfast and everything was freshly prepared, well presented and delicious. The whole feeling we were left with was that we were special and well looked after. Special thanks to Stacey for looking after us so well."

"This is the second time hotels.com asks me to review the same visit to Hostal El Estudio. Normally I wouldn't bother to repeat myself, but this place was special. It is quite modern compared to the majority of Spanish hotels that I've stayed in. Service was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I have been touring Spain and France by motorcycle for two weeks now. This hotel is by far our favorite. Highly recommended!"
