"It was wonderful "

"The home was clean, but could really use a loveseat in the living room or at least another chair. Additionally, the bedrooms could really use a nightstand. The bedrooms only have the beds in them. The grass needs to be cut. I couldn’t let my dog go out in the back because the grass was taller than she is. Mind you, she only weighs 4 pounds, but it needs to be cleared out before guests can safely use the area. It just felt quite empty compared to the many other places we had stayed. We arrived late at night because we had nearly a 12 hour drive and there was no toilet paper. My husband had to go to the one little convenience store that was open in town at that time to get some for us. Like the title says, the house has a lot of potential. It is very cute, but it needs a little attention and the areas mentioned above. I would gladly stay here again because of the convenience of the location to my husband‘s family, especially if these issues are dealt with properly."

"Honestly we were there for a family funeral. Not very much to say other then staff was friendly, the rooms where clean and comfortable "

"Five minutes in the room and went to a different motel"

"We arrived in town for our VEBO rental and I checked to see what we had to do yo get in. But there was no information for us on our email from VRBO that had a check-in button. We knew the chief of police in this small town and he informed us that the owners live next door to the rental so he went with us to see what was what. The couple was home but she explained that she wasn’t expecting us. She said that she needed to change the sheets before we came in so it might be about another hour and a half. By that time we had waited 21/2 hours pst check in. She was very nice and very apologetic but since you pay upfront I was curious why she was not aware of our arrival. The house itself needs some serious attention and not worth the price. It was a much older home which is what I prefer but it had broken blinds and no porch light and a screen door that had much too much daylight showing at the bottom, along with many other issues. Basically it was clean but quite raggedy. They need to up their game!"
