Nice , 2nd time staying here , no complaints, staff nice and helpful. Property showing a little wear and tear but nothing major . Enjoyed my stay there as a stop off before going on my cruise .

Fantastic view of the cathedral from our room. However the room and hotel were a little tired. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, and the bathroom light switch was in a dangerous condition…arcing at the slightest touch. There never appeared to be any staff available and the buffet breakfast…well, don’t bother paying for it! You can get a fabulous breakfast at one of the many cafes available nearby!

Breakfast was excellent! Staff were extremely helpful, and courteous. I would like to mention Catherine from the reception for her help explaining how to take the train from Southampton to London.

Location is good to old town and old city walls. See cruises front of our room/may flower terminal. Coach and train stations very close.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. Free parking round the back of the hotel with space for about 10 cars. Breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast consists of self serve cereals, fruit juices and water then you order from a menu for the rest of your breakfast. We opted for poached eggs on toast and the poached eggs were perfect. There are 14 rooms available at this hotel which is above a pub. There isn’t a lift so if you have mobility issues you may struggle. No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room.
