“Found the place expensive £7 a pint, and £13.50 for a breakfast, which we didn’t bother with.Also the room I paid for double room with an extra single bed, had been given to someone else, which by the way I had phoned up two days previous to verify I had.Staff I spoke too were nice, but I would never go back there.”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor.
The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“Dog and Gun is a place that I would visit again. From the pub food to the personal service, I can’t commend the staff enough. They were all so lovely. We were escorted to our room, given an orientation and then provided fresh milk and cookies. There were also things in the room set up that were customized to our group. So many small touches that made the stay feel personal. It was a great experience.”
