Ancient Volubilis Tours

The staff at Riad Layla were very helpful, including sorting out laundry for us, and providing us with breakfast to go on the morning we checked out when we had to leave very early. The other morning where we were able to have breakfast on the terrace was excellent - very fresh and great variety. There are a lot of stairs to the terrace! The main courtyard was beautifully presented and maintained, and provided a great sense of calm and quiet. Our room was nice, but there were a few things in the bathroom that could be better maintained: a lightbulb needed replacing, the lightswitch was loose from the wall with wires exposed, and it was incredibly hard to turn the shower handle tight enough to stop it from dripping

Location was good, right in the middle of the medina, but can be tricky to navigate too with people trying to “help” but always asking for money. Room was decent but had a lingering smell of urine and although door secured, a very large crack between the doors that anyone can see right into your room. Staff offered help & recommendations but seemed all they wanted was tips as well.
