"This small family-run place was perfect for a family of five (Mom, Dad, and 3 twenty-something kids). The owners are a lovely couple who gave us great attention and service including delicious home cooked meals. The separate A-frame 2 bedroom 2 bath was exactly as pictured. And the swimming pool was maybe even better than the photos. The views the setting, Arewá is a bit of paradise. If it’s available, book it! "The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food. "Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!"

"Marco and Celeni were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very attentive to all our needs. The lake house was beautiful, more than what I expected. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the outdoor bathroom, which is very spacious. Marco’s boat experience on the lake is highly recommended, as well as the chocolate farm tour but only if you understand Spanish. I don’t have a bad word to say about this entire experience. Highly recommended "
