This was an absolute disaster. We had no idea this was the first day this hotel would be open after months of being closed. The featured breakfast? A box that had a bagel and an apple in it. The real clincher was that the electricity went off at 5:30 AM in the morning and there was no emergency back up generator for the rooms. The elevators shut down, we had to take our luggage from the eighth floor and walk it down to the lobby, we could not take a shower, we had no light to do anything but be able to get dressed. Wow, that was a relaxing weekend! Never again. Oh, and I almost forgot. My husband went down to make sure that the doors were locked on our car, and when he got to the lobby there were seven people without masks yelling and screaming at each other with the lobby attendant doing absolutely nothing.I think we deserved more from a Marriott hotel.
