They went above and beyond to help us. The house is beyond beautiful and they have a delightful sitting/ lounge area. The environment around the house is to absolutely gorgeous. It's a very special place indeed. It's more like staying with wealthy friends who have excellent taste in interior design than staying at a B&B. That's because it isn't quite a B&B in the usual sense - the owners, Jackie and Tony live here too. It is their home, but they make three rooms in this palatial residence available to guests. The room I had was the one with the incredibly spectacular mountain view (a Munro, no less - Beinn Sgulaird, 937m). Upstairs is a beautifully spacious loft lounge with big comfy chairs and a marvellous view of the mountain. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost friendliness and hospitality. Jackie made sure I wanted for nothing. The room was beautifully designed with a huge and superbly fitted out en-suite bathroom. The location could not be more idyllic - utterly tranquil and staggeringly beautiful. Usually when I review, I try to include a few bad points with the good points to give users a balanced view. But I honestly can't think of any bad points - or even any mediocre points! Wow! You must try this place. The house is so cool, with its own history, great people, wonderful attention to detail, gave us great tips for dinning and activities, overall a great experience. Absolutely amazing! Not one thing to fault, beautiful home inside and out, so friendly and make you feel very welcome. We took a long walk in the stunning hills and farmer's fields. The lounge for guests has the most epic view you can imagine. The breakfast was divine and gluten-free friendly, should you need that as I do. Very friendly and kind hosts.
