Perfect little getaway spot to relax. We came here after Rio and it was the ideal change of pace. Staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. They even prepared a little breakfast for us the day before when we had to leave at 5:00 AM; it was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend the place.

The host Bia and Daniel went above and beyond to look after me which meant a 5.30am check in and specially coming to let me in before dawn. This is a beautiful pousada with a perfect location right in the old town. The front desk staff, however, is lacking - and know that if you don't speak Portuguese it will be difficult to communicate with them. The staff isn't knowledgeable about buses out of Paraty or directions to get to popular restaurants and destinations. Some are helpful but many are not.
