"Taransay Cottage is a dream! Our second stay here. We feel so at home with everything in the cottage needed to ensure we have the best time no matter the weather. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to the most beautiful beaches. Stunning sunsets. Great to order freshly made pizza from Croft 36 just across the road!A few minutes drive to have the best fish and chips washed down with Great beer and wine at The Brewery on The Pier Leverburgh. Played 9 holes golf on what must be one of the most scenic golf courses. Walked a different beach every day.Only slight issue was the matress was a bit too soft for us and we didnt ever manage to work out how to turn on the radiator in the bathroom for drying towels but there is a tumble dryer so it wasn't a real issue. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you."

We enjoyed our stay with only one slight negative being the directions info (provided by hotels.com) was not accurate. I think we were missing some of the email message text. "Spotlessly clean and spacious with everything we could want. Our dog loved the garden, part manicured and part rocky, just super. Seating areas and a suntrap. Delightful meeting with the hosts mum, what a lovely lady. The wine, eggs and flowers were extra special touches. The very peaceful location with great views, and only a short drive from Tarbert."
