"This property is owner operated and your host Phillipe is quite charming. The property is deep in the hills above Aosta. There are no restaurants or markets. Nothing. The charm of being there is that you can have a nice home cooked meal and breakfast in a 14th century building. The beds were comfy with toasty blankets. We left the windows opened as the temps plummeted. It’s worth taking a walk around the neighborhood. It’s altogether about a 1/2 mile but enjoyable. "

"I have never really written reviews for properties on Expedia previously. This is the first one. I stayed in this place in Aug 2022 while on TMB. I could not find a refuge on the trail and decided to try this venue. I will absolutely do it all over again. To begin with, the owner, Alfred, was very responsive before the trip.
