"Had low expectations going in as it’s a shared lodge, I was pleasantly surprised. Easy check in, we had a small ensuite in our room. Shared kitchen was very spacious and clean. When we got back to the lodge in the evening, the fire was roaring and it was toasty and warm. Was great place for what we needed for the night."

Our room was clean and well laid out, and we utilize the kitchen to save on having to go out for meals. One while the mountain was closed it was a quick easy driving to Christchurch for some other activities. I highly recommend staying here."
