We really enjoyed our stay at the Astor Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and the family room perfect for our needs. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and the setting exceptional, with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. The location is excellent for all of the archeological sites and to feel part of this vibrant city.

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Astor in Athens. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made a big difference. The location is super convenient—you can easily walk to places like the Acropolis and Plaka. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast—great spread, fresh food, and lots of authentic Greek options. Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and as described. The location is great to get around the old town as well as other areas (via hop on hop off) We didn’t have the breakfast as we choose to eat on the town. We did see the restaurant advertising dinner, but that wasn’t really available. We would stay here again as the staff, cleanliness but especially the location is great.

The Astor is an 8 minute walk with a 23kg bag from the blue train line at Syntagma station to the front reception desk. It has a fabulous view of the Acropolis at the breakfast area. There are two convenience stores within 100 metres of the front reception desk. There are numerous bakeries and coffees shops aswell very nearby. Breakfast is very decent. I would rate the hotel value for money and very well positioned for a few days in this ancient capital.

We arrived before the room was ready, but they stored our luggage. They were helpful with directions and restaurants, and told us where to avoid, for safety. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the view was amazing! They were very friendly.

Location is great and convenient in the central square of Athens (Syntagma). Everything is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. Great Parthenon breakfast views. Good quality breakfast food. Friendly and attentive staff. It's close to everything you want to see in town. Almost all of the major attractions were within walking distance. Appreciated the management staff available storing our luggage after check out. Only issue was loud music outside until 3AM.
