The property is located in an established & peaceful neighborhood in Downtown Decatur. Please treat the home and area with respect. There is parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway at the property. The home has tons of character. The location is a big plus—close to local shops, restaurants and Emory University Hospital, which made getting around super convenient.One of our favorite features was the quiet nature path at the end of the cul-de-sac directly across the street. The kitchen is our favorite spot to spend time - the large dining table and big kitchen island are great places to sit and socialize or work remotely. The wifi is fast and reliable. We streamed a movie on the big tv in the living room with no problem. The home has always been well-stocked with basic supplies - which is a nice bonus! We did a load of laundry this visit - the washer and dryer work great. The host and property manager are easy to reach and have quickly answered any time we've had questions. Maintenance want able to ge there until around 5:30pm. But it was fixed and we were happy about that because the beeping kept us all up the first night. Kids loved their rooms and the swing under stairs. Great kitchen and outdoor space. Giving it a four rating due to several exposed electrical sockets and stains on comforts on both downstairs. The house is up for sale as well so there aren’t a lot of blinds nor curtains which would have given us more privacy at night. The house is in a great neighborhood and convenient to lots of great restaurants and breweries. Candler St, Decatur, GA Very attractive, comfortable home for our extended family. Kitchen very well equipped. The house appeared to be newly renovated. Lots of parking and large back yard perfect for our toddler grandson. The host was very responsive to our needs.
