Walk to Agnes Scott College or visit the oldest cemetery in Atlanta and stop by markers from the 1700s. Take a leafy walk down to nationally celebrated restaurants like Kimball House, you won\`t be disappointed with this village experience within the big city. The home is fairly walkable to either Oakhurst or downtown Decatur. Uber and Lyft are also super easy and Marta is not far either! As with any city, you may hear noise occasionally from city life & nearby transit. Must be 25 years old to book. RULES & POLICIES: HOUSE RULES Airbnb guests that have booked a stay have agreed to the house rules: \- Please be courteous of surrounding neighbors. We have cultivated a strong relationship to continue to host Airbnb guests. For noise / neighbor complaints guests will be fined or asked to leave the property without a refund. \- No parties &|or events, glitter, tape, or confetti unless agreed up on prior to reservation. \- No smoking (vaping) or open flames of any kind. This includes incense. \- Please no loud music or noise after 10 PM. \- Please make sure ALL guests are registered. No photoshoots filming projects unless agreed upon when booking. \- Minimum age of 25 years old to book, members of party may be younger. REMINDER \- Security cameras/audio recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. It's spotless clean, spacious and has super comfortable beds & a well appointed kitchen & baths. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely & we felt completely safe. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the exterior of the home. The outside is definitely in need of a little maintenance. There are two large planters that have collapsed & spilled dirt all around, the white lanterns are all tattered & torn and several were strewn about the yard, a string of lights was falling down around the firepit, and the rocker on the back porch has a broken seat so not comfy to sit in. We also found dirty diapers around the outdoor trash bin when we arrived. All that being said...the INSIDE of this home is AMAZING! I only tell these things because we were a little shocked and concerned UNTIL we walked inside. It was nearly 100\* during our stay so we didn't spend much time outside anyway so it worked perfectly for our stay. I booked this house for my son's wedding in Decatur. It was the PERFECT home for the event - we previously lived in Decatur on Clairemont Ave so this house brought back so many wonderful memories. Beautiful interior and exterior for first-look and pre-wedding photos. Talia was quick to respond if I had any questions and she made our stay flawless. The back screened porch was a healing haven . But more importantly the kindness and compassion from Talia and her team was above and beyond. My daughter had multiple complications and I needed to extend my visit a few times and they worked with us every step of the way, with no pressure, as we were not sure of a final date .Not having that worry allowed me to focus on my daughter. They really cared about making our family comfortable during this stressful time.
