"The room was clean, and the bedding was fresh and spotless. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were GREAT! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely try the bar next time!"

"Clean and comfortable. We booked the cheapest studio which was in the old motel block - great value for the money we paid. Downside was that the door didn't quite fit properly and the soundproofing wasn't brilliant as we could clearly hear conversations next door. That wouldn't stop us staying again - great location in nice area with half-hourly bus service into the city taking 10/15 mins."

"Location is great, though there was constructions happening nextdoor which closed off Lorne Street (October 2026). Avoidable if you don’t drive your car, which odds the best way to experience Auckland anyway. Suggest parking at the downtown carpark which is a 15min walk or a quick ride on the CRL - station is a five minute walk away. Room was incredibly tidy and clean. Didn’t really have to do too much with the staff. Great stay. Many food options on Lorne street."

"This hotel was an absolute dream. It was a perfect combination of luxury and peace. I will absolutely be returning here. It was my birthday, and they were so sweet to me! Everything was clean, and we had a beautiful view, the food was delicious, we had a lovely time. Again, highly recommend."
