I have no idea how this hotel has an 8.2 guest rating on Expedia. I would believe 6.2. The location is not in a good area. The parking lot is enclosed with an electric gate. There is chicken wire on the gate. The ice machine on our floor was broken. Sign posted on it. No plans to repair. No coffee for the Keurig in our room. I asked for regular coffee. The hotel staff said they are out of regular coffee. Only one coffee cup left in the room. So I went to the lobby to get coffee and there was no coffee in the lobby for breakfast. We had a 2 queen bed room with 3 people. The hotel only gives you two towels. This problem was listed on reviews before but has not been corrected. The only good things were that the room was clean and the beds were decently comfortable. I would not stay here again.

We had two rooms 7 people total but only had 4 bath towels. Was told there were no more available. Also carpet in one room could stand a cleaning. Small speck of what appeared to be blood on a sheet. The other room had a crack in the shower wall.

The hotel is located right on Broad Street next to the lively downtown area with plenty of shops and events. However, it is far enough away from the center of it all that it is still quiet. You seem to need a card to get into even the main entrance and most of the parking is gated which was a nice surprise. The people working there were super nice. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of protein options rather than just fruit and carbs like some places. The wifi was fast and reliable and the air conditioning was superb. The building itself is a little rough around the edges with some tears in the carpet, patches on the walls, the bathroom mirror was recessed into the wall a bit, and a crack in the shower. Despite this wear, nothing felt dirty or neglected somehow; it's just a building and things get old. I would stay here again if I come back to Augusta.
