"Katie’s response time is crazy fast. This is not the norm in this day and time!We’ve been coming here for a few years.The property is always well manicured. All the furniture inside (and outside) is comfy and in good condition. You can easily fall asleep in the oversized leather recliner.A Large TV in the living room and bedroom with ample channels.Super soft sheets and the perfect mattress makes sleeping away from home extremely easy.You feel very safe with all the outdoor lights and the ability to keep the large cattle gate locked.Allowing pets is another fantastic option because our 4 legged girls love to romp around the acreage.The ducks don’t realize they are “wild” and will follow you like dogs and quack until they get what they want (duck food).So glad we found this ideal vacation location. Don’t like giving a five star review because I want to keep this special spot a secret but… we all need decompressing right now.You will enjoy your time!!"

"My mom and I stayed at the Second Wind on a family vacation. Frank greeted us as we drove up and was so kind to help me unload our car and carry everything in. My mom is mobility challenged at the moment (hip surgery the following week), so she was unable to be much help, and we so appreciated the level of service shown to us. The cabin was perfect for us in every way. and I so much appreciated the attention to accessibility details – ramps, power recliners, etc. Not only that, we brought brought my mom's mobility scooter to help her on our trip and we somehow got off without my battery. Frank and Linda provided her a walker to use while we were there. They also took my mom down to the water on the golf cart since she could not have walked it herself – not just one time, but each and every time. The service was above and beyond. Frank and Linda truly have servants’ hearts and blessed us so much. They even prayed for my mom when we were leaving, that her surgery would go well, etc. The cabin was beautifully hand-crafted and the waterfront view was beautiful. We, our dogs, and our family enjoyed it so much. Can we give 25 stars or more? Highly recommend this beautiful retreat."

"Home was very clean and has everything you would need. The nature is amazing…deer, squirrels, rabbits, and raccoons in the backyard daily. Bring corn and carrots to feed the wild life…up to 5 deer at once will be right in the backyard if fed"

"Property was exactly as listed. Had a little confusing with payment because the property takes direct payment, but the host walked us through that and had us taken care of before our stay arrived!It is off the beaten pass slightly, but the area is secure and worth it!"
