The concept and the rooms were awesome! The place was clean, roomy and just plain fun! Downside was that my phone wouldn't work to call for check in and there was not a person on site when we arrived. Dogs in the neighborhood barked most of every night.

This is a very cute unique place to stay. It is a little bit of a walk from the central touristy area of bacalar and a lot of touristy restaurants, but honestly it was great exercise for us and we enjoyed it. Plus, it’s only a short walk to the lagoon where you can swim for a daily fee of 20mxn. The hallway and bathrooms are a bit of a tight space, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. If you are much larger in size it might be annoying for you. The WiFi worked well enough to have zoom calls, albeit with a slight delay at times. The pool was nice and clean with hammocks to hang out in. The shower smelled not so great I think because it doesn’t drain properly. Also, we only had soap in the kitchen, nothing for bathroom sinks. But it’s easy enough to buy a couple of bars of soap at any of the local shops. For the price, this place is really great! It felt really safe and secure here. Each apartment has 2 big locked doors plus a giant locked door to the entrance of the whole space. We had 2 a/c’s that worked really well! 1 in the front and 1 in the back. There is a door between the front half and back half so you almost have 2 separate apartments. It’s funky but actually a lot of space for 2 people. It definitely fit our needs.

We had a hard time communicating with this property through Expedia. The property did handle messages through WhatsApp not so promptly but did. We had a family crisis arise and could not complete this stay. No refund was offered or requested.

Guy works in the reception. He’s a scammer. I book this through Expedia. I paid a full amount included alll taxes. and he asked me additional money for municipal tax purposes. He has an unofficial bunch of fake paper, he showed me and asked me money first I refused to pay he said you can’t stay unless I pay. Expedia says free drink when you come in when I asked dad he said no drink.

Durante nuestra estancia encontramos varios puntos que afectaron la experiencia. En primer lugar, no pudimos disfrutar de la alberca en ningún momento. Siempre parecía sucia, como si no recibiera una limpieza diaria adecuada. A simple vista se notaban mosquitos y basura flotando, lo cual definitivamente no invitaba a meterse al agua. Sería importante que esta área recibiera mantenimiento y limpieza constante para que realmente se pueda aprovechar. En cuanto al contenedor donde nos hospedamos, aunque a primera vista parecía limpio, al revisarlo con más detalle sí había varios temas importantes. La parte de la cocina tenía acumulación visible de grasa. Debajo de la cama había muchísimo polvo y suciedad; incluso cuando movimos las cosas para buscar un calcetín que se nos había perdido, salió completamente negro. Además, encontramos unos bichitos dentro del contenedor, lo cual reportamos al personal para que aplicaran algún tratamiento o líquido preventivo. Solo nos respondieron con una sonrisa diciendo que lo revisarían, pero no vimos seguimiento. Si bien hacían limpieza diaria, no era una limpieza profunda ni adecuada. Zonas como el pequeño clóset y, sobre todo, la parte inferior de la cama, estaban constantemente sucias. En resumen, no fue una mala estancia, pero tampoco tuvimos la experiencia que esperábamos Definitivamente no regresaría, principalmente por los temas de limpieza y mantenimiento. Ojo a un lado hay varios perritos y ladran mucho por la noche

El proceso de check in es bastante fácil, hubo inconveniente al momento de contactar con el hotel ya que en expedia cuentan con otro numeo de teléfono, el cual me proporciono el hotel despues. En general es bastante agradable, el servicio de limpieza es muy bueno, muy facil acceso, cuenta con tiendas de abarrotes, muy cercano al zocalo de Bacalar 15 minutos a pie. El unico tema que tuve es que no me comentaron con anterioridad que el refrigerador de nuestra habitación no estaba en funcionamiento, hubiese sido bueno que me comentaran antes de llegar al alojamiento, fuera de eso lo recomiendo mucho.

El lugar es como aparecen en las fotos, un minidepartamento con todo lo necesario por si se desea cocinar, con 2 baños y las instalaciones son nuevas. Está muy cerca de la estación de autobuses. El personal fue de mucha ayuda desde la llegada.

Todo bien solo que la alberca estaba un poco sucia, fue un tanto complicado comunicarme con recepción, la comunicación se pudo hacer hasta el mismo día de hacer el check in un par d e horas antes de realizarlo, lo cual si me preocupo un poco, y en una de las habitaciones no dejo de caerse el agua de afuera, lo cual fue un poco molesto

Excelente opción para hospedarse en familia! Tiene estufa, cafetera, refrigerador y utensilios de cocina; la alberca es pequeña pero la disfrutan los niños!
