"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

"We enjoyed our stay meeting up with french friends. Easy check in, great communication, including getting us some more firewood within the hour! Clean and comfortable everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. Thoroughly recommend"

"The place is lovely and the host seems to have thought of everything. Home made bread and cupcakes were a very nice touch. Location is great for getting to family-friendly attractions (e.g. Bewilderwood). Warm, comfy, finished to a high standard, excellent bathrooms. Our son enjoyed the box of Lego. "Everything we wanted and needed. 8 ladies celebrating a 60th Birthday. The barn is spacious, comfortable and homely. Perfect for a get together. The host was lovely and was willing to help and share her knowledge. There are clear instructions on how thiings work and dos and donts, which were useful. Absolutely no complaints at all. "Literally 2 minutes from the beach. While other people are struggling to park and can face a long walk to Norfolk's great beaches this property is a 2 minute walk to a long sandy beach. Our dogs loved it. The property is in good condition with a fantastic hot tub.. Sleeps 4 or six with a sofa bed. Lovely large kitchen/dining area and a wood fire (and central heating) for cold nights (we had hot weather so didn't need heating). Also has an enclosed garden so ideal for pets. Definitely going back...

"The cottage is within a short walk of the sea, the beach is accessible via a steep path after approximately ten minutes. There is a bench to sit on and admire the view of the sea if you don’t fancy the steep path. The cottage itself was spacious, 3 nice bedrooms with the comfiest beds I’ve slept in for a long time. A decent bathroom with a bath and overhead shower and wc. There is also a separate room with a stand alone shower cubicle. The kitchen supplies were brilliant with plenty of crockery...

"Everything was great - apart from kitchen facilities which were sparse. Comfortable seating... great beds... excellent shower... good tv reception etc. BUT oven shelving needs attention and couldn't get 2 of the gas rings to work. So it's a great place to stay for the city - just don't plan to do much cooking!"

"A few days by the sea was just what we needed and this place was perfect. Loved the amazing view and being so close to a beautiful beach. Just missed a couple basics in the kitchen eg a measuring jug and wooden spoon."
