There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. “Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”

“The room was generally clean, but the en-suite had quite a bit of mould across the ceiling and the shower felt cramped, despite the large cubicle, due to the shower itself being squashed into the corner of the cubicle.The furniture is somewhat 'distressed' , but the bed was very comfortable and the duvet was great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast on our first morning was very good, however, on the second morning the fried egg yolks were hard, but the whites were runny……

“We stayed at Lansdowne Cottage for two nights. The location was excellent — a short walk to Bourton-on-the-Water with its riverside views, shops, and restaurants. The cottage was cozy and had helpful amenities like a washer-dryer and utensils, though some items needed washing before use. Towels were limited, and we had to reuse them during our stay. The main issue was the heat. We visited during a heat wave, and the cottage had only one small fan. Another was provided on request, but it wasn’t……

“Beautiful location on the outskirts of Bourton on the Water. Within easy walking distance of the centre. Totally dog friendly. Excellent and plentiful provisions for breakfast. Everything you would want when away. Definitely would go again.”

“Church view was a perfect location. It was an easy walk on the footpath to the town. The cottage was huge & done with impeccable taste. We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage, as it was nighttime & raining when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised at the loveliness once we entered.”
