Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is 100 miles (161 kilometers) to the northwest of Bai Lan, while Pattaya is 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the west.
The area around Bai Lan is dotted with things to do and see, from perennial tourist favourites to hidden gems that still await discovery. Khlong Khut, is 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northwest, while Koh Samet sits 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northeast.
Approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the west of Bai Lan is Rayong, a regional center where you can explore Wat Pa Pradu, Rayong Aquarium and Mae Rumphung Beach. Laem Mae Phim Beach, Sopha Arboretum and Suan Son Beach are a number of other visitor attractions worth visiting for those who have time left.
