This was a beautiful place to spend the night! The room was large (with a surprisingly large bathroom), the dining was delicious, the service was impeccable and best of all, the employees were the nicest we’ve met on this trip to Scotland. We highly recommend the Oak Tree Inn!!

Excellent host, excellent breakfast, very clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance to town. Overall terrific value.

Staff at the Roman Camp were consistently helpful, accommodating us in every way. Facility is in a wonderful location near the charming town of Callendar. This hotel is different from a traditional hotel. Modern yet not too out there. Lots of young folks around since part of the facility is also a student housing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Location is great too.

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The historic building is beautiful. The room was spacious and had a kitchen. Everything was spotless. The bathroom shower was large, great water pressure and temperature. The bed is super comfortable. They don't make up the rooms daily, as it is an apartment hotel.
