"This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. "

"We came home to the UP to visit family and show off our first grand baby. Penny house was centrally located between family members so we hosted a bbq for everyone to meet her. Great place to stay, walking distance to restaurants and store. "

"The property was just what I expected for a wilderness setting, the cabin was beautiful inside and everything supplied, except food of course.The only thing was I didn’t realize the boat lift on the dock was for my use, which after my boat got swamped tied to the dock and I had to use the lift to make a recovery did I decide to use it for the rest of my stay, which was amazing. So the only suggestion I have is to put something in all the information about the dock and boat lift use.We had an awesome time and will definitely book again!!"
