“Excellent stay at the Ellison. It was very hot weather and the staff kindly brought us a fan and could not have been more helpful with bookings and directions. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops a short walk away.”

“Just back from a two night stay . Found the hotel excellent food very good staff very professional. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel any time your in lovely Westport. It's only a 3 star rating but definitely deserves more.”

“I booked a B & B as advertised on Expedia!! When learning there was no breakfast, i spoke to the owner. He took no responsibility for the false advertising saying that it was Expedia's fault. He said he has told them many times. He said they have not had breakfast in 3 years. On Expedia , it is listed as a b&b with photos showing the breakfast area as well as reviews from guests about their breakfast. VERY VERY POOR ADVERTISING from Expedia and the owner!! Can be characterized as fraud by……

“. Room was clean however during the stay there was a lot of heat in the local area and the windows would not open more than an inch. Thankfully the staff were kind enough to provide a fan. Breakfast was very good as was the bar service and bar food.....the other resturant on site had a nice menu however there was a deal for a 3 course meal for €42 roughly per person the menu showed a starter a main and a desert choice however you could only pick 2 of those because tea or coffee was considered……
