It is located just above the hub of St. John's within walking a distance of all of the pubs and restaurants (which is great as it can be hard to find parking in the core). We were lucky to have the best room in the house and it was lovely, although old fashioned. David, our host, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He knows how to run a great B&B. There are only four rooms, two on the second floor and two on the third. No elevator so you have to be able to navigate the stairs. Permit parking was right out front. Very steep walk to the downtown area. The manager was very friendly, and gave us a nice breakfast each morning. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. We left a camera battery charger in the bathroom, and the hotel staff contacted us immediately and tried to return it to us.
