"La chambre et la cuisine sont très propres, la literie est bonne et la déco très jolie. Problème il n y a aucun n° sur la porte et l étage n est pas connu il faut donc essayer le code sur toutes les portes. Le bar du coin de la rue a la musique à fond impossible de dormir. "The main attraction with this hotel was its prime location very close to the old city and the harbor/marina. The room was good, but unfortunately there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom drains. We told the staff, and the next day they were able to improve it significantly. The smell did however return gradually over the next few days. The breakfast buffet was good, with a stunning view from the breakfast restaurant. In the evenings, the restaurant turned into a skybar, but after trying it twice, we really wouldn’t recommend it. There are many bars and restaurants in the area that are more welcoming. The hotel offers a parking garage, but note that the garage is 5 minutes of walking away from the hotel."

"We had a lovely stay at the Francesco Heritage Hotel. The staff were very helpful and obliging unfortunately we did not get the room that was showing on the website even though I did check before arriving and the room we were given was not finished as there was a lot of tiling grouting and sealant that needed snagging. We did not have a mini bar to start with, but that was delivered after the first three days and there was no table or chair which was a bit inconvenient but otherwise the room was nice. Great location in the wonderful old town of Alghero."

"Perfect location! Modern and clean studio with a fantastic balcony. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Pool and all other facilities were great. Supermarket just around the corner, the beach on the doorstep and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Bus stop a very short walk away so easy to get to the airport."

"This was my 2nd time staying at Hotel Calabona, it’s an ideal hotel in Alghero! The hotel is waterfront with a small private cove, has a large pool overlooking the sea! It’s a 15 minute walk to the town center or they have a free shuttle. I suggest booking a room with a water view, it’s worth it. The staff is amazing, friendly and extremely accommodating! I highly suggest renting a car for a day trip to Castlesardo, La Pelosa Beach (ranked a top beach in Europe), you need to make a reservation), and some of the local beaches. Maria Pia was my favorite (15-20 minute drive), you can find street parking at the back of the hotel near the promenade. My only suggestion to the hotel, i. the summer, keep the pool open a little later. Thank you Hotel Calabona! I’ll be back!"
