It was very close to the shuttle to Banff which was great. It was also close to some great walking trails. The property itself is very old. The rooms are old. Found lots of spots where things were not clean. No food choices on site. It appeared everything had closed.

Staff was excellent. Room was old, kitchen counter was not only in very poor condition, but was covered in crumbs and food from the previous guests. In fairness to housekeeping, the damage on the counter top camouflaged the dirt. The blow dryer did not work, and the tv remote needed new batteries. The old fashioned bedspread, seldom used by other hospitality venues any longer due to hygiene standards, had been discarded by us to the floor. We were disappointed to find it back on the bed, upon our return to the room.

Couch was unacceptable. Old and beaten up. Kitchen was sparsely supplied. Some lights didn’t work. Carpet had patches. Upper loft level was hot no ceiling fan. Pool was closed. Had to upgrade my room due to the fact that the walk out rooms are like basement apartments. Your money can be better spent somewhere else.

Mattress on bed was stuffed so we couldn’t sleep all night as well as the fridge being so old that it sounded like a plane was going to take off in our room so we switched it off half way thru the night. Made complaint 3 times to reception, asked to see manager who was never on site so sent a email of complaint. Have heard nothing. place needs pulling down, it’s a disgrace. DO NOT STAY THERE

Our room was large, with a kitchen and working fireplace. The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was an indoor water park with the hotel which would have been wonderful for young families.

Value was great, free Roam transportation was amazing, but the property is old and shows a lot of wear. Pool was closed. There were signs about remodeling in progress so that might help visually. It was not busy and had lots of vacancy in the peak season of mid July even though Expedia said only a few rooms left when I purchased. Overall it still was a great value in July when other places were well over 400 usd a night and you’re only sleeping there!! Oh they did have a full kitchen which saved us so much money instead of eating out every meal.

This hotel is a little way out from the town centre but has a reglar shuttle bus which is handy as parking in town is limited. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Each room has a maked parking area with an elevator to take luggage direct to your floor. The hotel is in a loverly location, our room eas large with excellent air con and would definitely stay again.

The property is not well maintained! Many things required to fix in our rental unit, especially in kitchen and bathroom such as broken cabinet windows - one window missing and loose dishwasher, and the faucet for cold and hot water needs to be replaced - difficult to balance cold and hot water. Yet the price for the unit is so expensive but facilities are kind of forgotten property - ignoring the need to upgrade

The stay was not bad. However, the property is old. Nice hot tub outside with great view of mountain. Waterslide with pool for kids. Nice BBQ grill x2 close by with picnic tables. Staff extremely friendly. Bus pass x3 days to take into town is free provided by hotel and is just right outside the hotel. Staff will let you park there of the day even you have not checked in yet.

The furnishings looked like they came from a “second hand store”... chipped, wobbly table and frayed couch. There was mold around a seam in the shower and above the shower head.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PROPERTY! The photos in this listing show a pool. There is no pool. Just a children's water slide. The pull out couch mattresses are so terrible they left marks on my children's bodies. We asked to move to another room and it had a Murphy bed. The couch in this room had a giant hole in it and exposed screws that injured my daughter. They refused to give me any refund even though my child was injured by the exposed screws in the couch. The employees appear to be experienced in receiving frequent complaints and ask you to contact the manager but they do not respond. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!

Good hotel with proper amenities and kitchen was very helpful. Location accessible to Banff with numerous nearby good spots to see and enjoy such as tunnel mountain hike. The customer service at the hotel were great and really helpful. Our room also came with a beautiful view of Mount Rundle , which was remarkable. One thing, building was a bit old especially in some hallways, but it was still quite clean.
