There was no hot tub open for guests to relax. Also my grandchildren would have loved the water park and play place which were both closed as well. No restaurant other than the only one across the street. Also the room was a little outdated.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the place is in dire need of an update. The location is quiet and serene, and having the bus stop right outside the hotel was great.

It’s a cozy little place, but in need of a facelift. Additionally, it seemed short staffed (like everywhere in Banff). On my first morning, I tried to call the front desk for advice finding a restaurant for breakfast - I had no vehicle and two starving kids - and had to call three or four times until someone answered. Then, the person had no advice for me. (???) Oh. And when I checked in, there was a dead mouse in the light fixture in the front desk area. My room was super clean and we so no evidence of rodents, though.
