We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage has everything you need and
the owners are very nice people. Swimbridge is a quiet village and the perfect location for trips all over north Devon.
The cottage is a nice private location with parking for 2 cars
The cottage is spacious and very clean, equipment is of high quality, the kitchen is large enough to cook a 3 course meal or a sandwich with plenty of utensils
The owners introduced themselves but once met keep their distance so you have your privacy
The additional garden was a nice
From the moment we arrived to a cream tea to the sad moment we had to leave the Dairy cottage is all that anyone could wish for.
Situated in a quiet lane with all that you could require for a break.
Colin and Lee were helpful landlords organising new leads for the video overnight, as the originals had been mislaid.

1. Not really big enough for 6 people.
2. Only one toilet which was insufficient for 4 people let alone 6. Description said there was an en-suite which gave the impression that it included a toilet. This was not the case.
3. Cottage was generally clean but upstairs there was a lot of dust and cobwebs & spiders, which we had to clean before our granddaughters could go to sleep. We went into the property later, in order for it to be deep cleaned because of Covid 19. This appeared to be only a surface clean.
4. Shower was good but overflowed, probably due to drain being blocked with hair.
5. No interaction by owner to check all was well during the week.
6. Definitely could have done with a dish washer in the kitchen as there is sufficient room for one.
7 Bathroom could have been designed to accommodate a stand up shower.
Despite all the above, we did enjoy our time in Swimbridge .
The house is equipped with everything we could’ve needed and more. It is located in a quiet village which is perfectly located for exploring North Devons beaches and yet close enough to visit Exeter and Taunton.
Our young family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you
Excellent Dairy cottage special cream tea welcomed us on our arrival, and set the standard for stay. Very clean and cosy with all thats required of a restful holiday.

This cottage has been renovated and equipped to a high standard. The beds are very comfortable so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. I know Devon very well but for a first time visitor this cottage is ideally placed to access the various N. Devon beaches and Exmoor.

Perfect break in North Devon
Very much enjoyed our stay in Dairy Cottage, which was very well appointed, and comfortable. The village is quiet, with an excellent pub and is within easy reach of North Devon’s fabulous coast.

sehr schmuckes, angenehmes Cottige
Sehr geeignet für 4 Personen, für 2 mehr ist das Ausziehsofa in der Wohnstube recht eng. Gut heizbar, alles vorhanden was man braucht, sehr zu empfehlen, ruhige Umgebung, unkomplizierte Besitzer.
