"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was poor, the staff had a bad attitude, didn’t smile, and showed no interest in helping.
The room was also not properly prepared. There were no towels or soap available, which are basic essentials you expect at any hotel. We had to ask multiple times, and even then, the response was slow.
The breakfast area was another major issue. The quality was very poor, with limited options and everything felt unorganized and neglected. It definitely did not meet acceptable standards.
It feels like they think that just because they’re located in front of a mall, they are exclusive, but the reality is that the service and overall experience don’t match that expectation.
I would not recommend this hotel and definitely would not stay here again."
"I am writing to report a serious incident that occurred at Hotel Movich Buró 51 Barranquilla involving my companion.
Yesterday, at approximately 10:15 a.m., my companion became trapped inside the elevator for about 30 minutes. When the doors closed, they did so forcefully while my companion was in the middle, nearly causing a serious back injury.
During this time, the elevator was moving erratically, going up and down abruptly, which created a very dangerous and distressing situation. There was no immediate assistance provided, which further increased the severity of the incident.
This situation represents a serious safety concern, and it is unacceptable for such an event to occur on your property. I kindly request that this matter be investigated urgently and that you inform me of the corrective actions that will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
I look forward to your prompt response."
