Walk -in therapeutic 28-jet tub which seats two people. 3 bedroom, sleeps 6 (1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper sofa in study), 2 bath, stand alone single family home, log cabin nestled in beautiful northern Michigan wooded 30 acre private property with trails throughout - great for hiking, cross country skiing, 4 wheelers/ side-by-side, and snowmobiling.*

You will have the entire home and land to yourself. You will be the only people on the property and there’s no one in sight. 100% privacy.

Features: fully furnished & stocked with dishes, cookware, kitchen essentials, linens, toiletries, fire wood, etc.; main floor lined with cedar walls & maple floor; fireplace in cedar lined study; HD new washer & dryer; AMAZING WILDLIFE; attached garage; 20’ x 30’ pole barn to park larger vehicles or boats, if necessary.

Internet & Netflix provided.

WINTER MONTHS - snow removal service for driveway and side walk is included in rate.
NOVEMBER - JANUARY - cabin will be decorated for the holidays.
5-10 minutes from Lake Michigan, Portage Lake, and Bear Lake.

20 minutes to Manistee and 50 minutes to Traverse City.

PETS WELCOME! Please make sure your pet is up to date on shots (rabies, etc.), has some form of flea & tick medication, and has a microchip.

Local attractions: golf, beaches, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling, restaurants, shopping, Amish store with homemade furniture.
Upon confirmation, we will email you a comprehensive Renters Guide; complete with Sauna and Jet Tub instructions.

*You may bring your own vehicles and store in the barn. We are not liable for any injuries or damages whatsoever and you will be asked to sign a waiver to that effect. You will also be asked to provide a copy of valid licenses and titles. If you wish to bring ATV, etc, please let us know when booking and we’ll email you the waiver.

Peaceful cabin in the woods
This cabin was perfect! Nice, clean and modern made this a very relaxing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and sauna, with cozy beds and furniture for lounging. Our favorite part was the 30 acres with trails ... not a neighbor in sight! Highly recommended!

Property was clean. Fall colors were gorgeous . The property amenities failed to work (jetted tub and sauna). Our first night there an alarm went off in a locked room, took over an hour to get the correct code to turn it off. It was a carbon monoxide alarm, we were told to just take the batteries out. Luckily we brought batteries and felt comfortable staying. We did leave a day early due to an abundance of tocks (not the fault of the property owners), but took the fun out of walking the trails.

The house and property were amazing. Spotless, had everything we needed or would want in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. The trails were well kept, beautiful, and just enough up and down to wear us out. lol. Our only negative, is that the internet was a little slow after 5pm each day. If you plan on streaming TV, bring an alternative. I'm sure that is a common issue in this area though. The views more than made up for it!

PRO'S - This property was a great choice for us, being that we wanted privacy as well as trails to ride our ORV's on. The house was amazing and the trails were even better! We would like to rent here again before the home sells (as it's on the market). The house was very clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable. CON'S - The property has 2 bedrooms, not 3 as originally advertised (which wasn't really an issue for us) The main floor (bedroom) has a shower which unfortunately did not work. The downstairs shower worked though. I had to lubricate the main gate lock, as it was quite hard to operate. The main coffee maker didn't work but there was a spare (old style) coffee maker that did work.

A fun cabin in the woods!
We brought our kids up with our ORVs. We had so much fun on the trails! The long driveway was a great training course for our youngest and the trails offered a great variety of excitement & scenery! The cabin was lovely and stocked with anything we needed. The property manager and owner were easy to contact when we needed help. The check in and out were simple. It was a great experience!

What an awesome place! Cabin is beautiful, spacious and well equipped with everything you need. It was everything we were looking for! Property has a great trail system (which we got lost in 🤷‍♀️), great porch for our morning coffee, and lots of room for our pup to explore. You’re off the grid, but so close to beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan, parks and the cozy Little town of Onekama. Literally minutes away from Manistee and Traverse City. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle! Thanks Edie for sharing this wonderful place!

Comfortable cabin-like home set deep in the woods offered a restful getaway. Kitchen & home very well stocked, including firewood, charcoal & lighter fluid for fireplace, firepit & bbq. Modern coffeemaker with all coffee supplies provided. Beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the spa or sauna, but it was nice to have the option. Every morning we explored trails on site, locating various "forts," and enjoying the sounds of nature. On clear nights the stars were amazing! Despite remote location, it was a quick drive to Portage Point Beach for swimming in Lake Michigan. Very memorable & relaxing vacation spot!

Very dog friendly! Great natural light in the house with big windows and skylights. Everything was clean except for the master shower which had dirt and hair on the ledges. But it wasn't a big deal because the rest of the house was very clean. We enjoyed the trails and the solitude!
