Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The beach area had really nice sand and lots of chairs and umbrellas. Upon walking into our room, it smelled very strongly musty. We brought it to the attention of the front desk staff and it was because it was raining and they couldn’t do anything about it. The pool and hot tub were older looking but fine. Overall, it was average. Nothing special but nothing awful either.

"I would sleep in the room, it builds immunity" - thr manager when i showed him the black particles shooting out of the AC on to the bed. When i brought this to the attention of the staff first, they vacuumed the AC and said it would be fine. It wasnt. Originally they didnt have another comparable room but offered me to just leave. I asked if i would get a refund they said no. They found a room [gave up another persons reservation] That room had what looked to be ketchup all over the comforter. I brought it to the managers attention and he told me i was the only one complaining. After an extended time of aggrevatikn the manager gave some sort of understanding and said he would talknto the staff but too little to late. We couldnt get out of that place fast enough The place stunk of smoke, had to sleep with the balcony doors open. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else

Sugar Beach Resort was just as pictured. The location was great for my family as it was centrally located around the activities we planned. The facility had boxed breakfast that we didnt much like.

The property is beautiful, location is great. Our room was right on the beach and the bed was comfy. The reason I didn’t give a perfect rating is because there were several people drinking right outside of our sliding door leading to the beach. We had a toddler that needed to nap during the day but it was so noisy near our balcony area. The balcony area also looks much larger in the pictures, but it doesn’t show that it’s shared with public area, not private. The price of the rooms here is so high, I expected a little more privacy and peace. They also have a very poor selection for breakfast, either frozen breakfast sandwiches or cereal, lol. I’d still stay here again, but I wouldn’t spend the extra money for a beach view.

Lovely stay- we weren’t able to check in until later due to travel plans but sitting on the beach was lovely that evening. Nice breezy evening to sit on the beach. Great boxed breakfast option delivered right to your door!

Very nice hotel. Right on the beach. Sand is smoothed out every morning. There is a walk bridge between the buildings with furniture for relaxing and gazing across the bay. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Restaurants are available on opposite side of the street.
