Well, I was a bit surprised by what appeared to be a sloppy remodel: peeling wall paper, ceiling paint on ceiling fixtures, untidy caulking on bathroom walls and tiles, exposed screw anchors in bathroom. DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown
We loved that the elevator only operated with a key card. We felt safe and cozy. The room was small, but exactly perfect. The beds were absolutely amazing along with the pillows. I would revisit for every trip back into NYC.
