Four Seasons Hotel Beijing

5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (469)
"My son and I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It is a beautiful property in a pleasant location. The staff were extremely competent and the service was flawless. The highlight for us was the breakfast buffet with so many options of local food. We also had some amazing meals at the Chinese restaurant in the evening. We loved the pool and the hot tub too. The hotel is also close to a river with some lovely pedestrian walkways. I would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return one day!"

Cordis, Beijing Capital Airport by Langham Hospitality Group

5.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1012)
"For an airport hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were huge. There's a nice park with a lake and running trails across a small road. What I didn't like was that I didn't receive any benefits that Expedia said I should get, like a 20% discount on food at the restaurant. The reception desk and restaurant host had no idea what I was talking about when I inquired about it. I tried to get help from Expedia's Virtual Chat but I went around in circles with the AI agent and left me frustrated. I...

Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing

5.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"If you are into the traditional housing experience of Beijing this is the platonic ideal. The service was impeccable really, we didn’t try the dining or options or activities because there is plenty to do in Beijing. There was some annoying xiaomi air purifier thing that’s literally my only critique, in that I had to stop it making random noises and lights during the night. I wouldn’t stay if you aren’t into this traditional housing though, remember it’s not a high rise hotel it’s like a little...

East Sacred Hotel ( the Forbidden City San Li Tun)

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (9)
"Well this is China, so no point expecting Western type of facilities. But the room was big, very big comfy and clean beds. No tea nor coffee, no breakfast nor restaurant as described and staff didn't really speak English at all. However, great location, just 80Rmb in a cab from PEK. Aircon worked really well and it was half the price of an equivalent hotel in more expensive cities. The "blind massage" parlour next door and the posted warning from police in the room re: sex worker scams made it...
