Big rooms in nice house
This house had many nice features, including the very large room size. The living room, dining room, patio and bedrooms were airy and comfortable.The deck overlooking the train and lake was very nice and we used it most evenings. The trains are pretty quiet and didn't bother us at all, in fact we kind of enjoyed them. Belgirate had a few good restaurants and a nice walk along the river although we stayed there for its proximity to Stresa which is an active town with many restaurants and shopping. The only downsides to the house included the paucity of supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. There were no dish towels or paper towels in the kitchen, there was no effective working coffeemaker ( a MUST for our family), not many coffee cups and we were provided a tiny little container of dish soap and one dishwasher pod. Likewise for the bathroom no soap or kleenex and only ONE roll of toilet paper.I feel these small issues could be easily remedied for about 50 and I would give this house a higher review.
