Hello Sarah, Thank you for your kind review - it was lovely to meet you. Our private little place does have some challenges with wifi and mobile phone reception - it does depend on who your own phone provider is and sometimes the weather and the 50,000 other tourists trying to access mobile phone towers in this area over summer :) Despite our every effort to rectify this - the government infrastructure cannot catch up quickly enough to the changing needs of society. Feedback from many guests is that they actually welcome a little break from the internet and enjoy the peace and tranquility of being away from the crowds at the end of the day :) Some peoples disadvantages can be advantages to others :) Thanks for staying with us - safe travels for the rest of your trip

Thank you Anonymous for your kind review. Yes if peace is what you are after - our little property is definitely a place to consider. Some guests are pleased to be without wifi and others not. For our little property this will come down to who your service provider is on your phone - some receive reception and some not. We are on one of the best coastlines in the world, yet just far enough inland (5 minutes) off the Great Ocean Road to feel like you are peacefully away from the hustle and the bustle ! Thank you for your kind review. We do have amazing countryside and wildlife. We are in a peaceful space away from the crowds but only a 7-15 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of Torquay and Anglesea. So sorry to hear about the windows - we will discuss with the cleaning team asap.

Ahh yes - winter in this little getaway can be just as lovely as summer - listening to the rain - rigging up for a winter walk on the beaches - and of course those little kangaroo families visit us all year round. Thanks for your kind review Jim - cheers - deb and ken

Ahh yes - mobile phone reception - what to do, what to do! Hopefully NBN will arrive to our little getaway sometime in the near future. Any service provider that uses Telestra line should be able to get at least some reception - although this at times will depend on weather and how many people on the Great Ocean Road using the phone provider services. On the other side of that argument as you rightly pointed out, does mean a true break from IT and the world we live in ! Thank you Ian for your kind review. We will look into the TV reception issues - appears to have developed since digital TV has take over - fingers crossed we can rectify. The bed linen is 100% linen and would have been brand new on your stay, our understanding is that it softens with time.
