"We were four retired ladies that spent a week at this property and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The home was everything it was advertised to be and MORE. It’s obvious the owners also use this property, as the amenities and little extra touches made us feel so at home and comfortable, Can’t say enough about the outdoor space! It was such a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the water, beautiful sunrises, and even fishing from the pier. Ruth and Steve were perfect hosts, checking on us several times just to make sure we didn’t need anything. They even provided fishing tips, along with the best line rigging and some bait. This place is definitely on our list of places we’d like to stay again. Can’t recommend it highly enough!"

"My husband, son, and I spent 3 nights at this peaceful property. Secluded yet close to many things. Dauphin Island was only around 15 minutes away. We spent a little of each evening there. Beautiful sunsets!! Mobile not far away as well. Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful property, nice inside, wonderful hosts! Was also a nice bonus to buy up some shrimp to bring home from the owners of the property(Zirlott's Gulf Products) before we left out. Thank you Patricia and Kate for sharing your property! We had a wonderful visit!"

"We found this gem last minute and were SO happy with it. The directions were very easy, host is great and it is a very private spot on huge lot with a brand new dock right on the water. We spent 2 nights and all 3 beds we used were super comfortable. The house inside was spotless and very nicely decorated. The back deck is upstairs on second floor and watching summer lightning storms in the distance and sunset is beautiful. We had no issues with mosquitoes which I just assumed would be a problem that close to water so that was cool. Both evenings we fished and used one of the crab cages for fun. We threw everything back but got a really nice redfish 20" and 19" flounder. Several croakers and a few small hard heads. For 3 dudes this place was AWESOME! Store is right around the corner and easy drive to/from Mobile for fishing supplies. We ate 2 times at an incredible restaurant called Bayou Seafood Company which has the BEST fried and boiled shrimp we have ever had at a really fair price. Growing up in S Texas we were surprised as it blew away the Kings Inn and Papadeuex fried shrimp which is really good if you're familiar with them. For private pilots its really close to Mobile, St. Elmo and Dauphin Island. We did have to fly out early to beat summer pop up storms but that's gulf coast in summer. Would have loved to have stayed longer. If the hosts will let us we'll def come back every chance we get. If you have kids they would LOVE the dock. AC was GREAT!"

"This has been one of our favorite places to stay!!! The house is amazing! The decor is beautiful and the house is very clean and spacious! The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and pans we needed. We cooked a good bit of the time we were there and even used the outside grill. The outside was our favorite place to be with the swimming pool and the AMAZING view!!! Paula was wonderful to work with and stayed in contact with us throughout the week. She is the perfect hostess! You cannot go wrong with this house!!! We look forward to staying here again!!!"

"The apartment exceeded our expectations. It had both the touches of a well kept home and a relaxing retreat. I especially enjoyed watching the sunrise on the deck each morning. Because of the central location, we enjoyed our time paddling and fishing in the Bay, beach combing and hiking on Daughin Island, sight seeing in Mobile, and shopping in Foley."
