This cabin is located 1 mile from the trail head of Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 gorgeous waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate!
The possibilities are endless!!!
This all-wood cabin is rustic yet has all modern amenities - air conditioning, internet, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit and park style charcoal grill. There is also a large deck for outdoor living space! The kitchen was newly remodeled too!!

Note -
There are landscape ponds on the property. Caution should be taken near water with children.
A high chair and pack and play are also available for use.
Linens - Sheets and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request.
Firewood is not provided but is sold nearby.
Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area.

When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover.
We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance. FALLS TRAIL SYSTEM UPDATE: 11/29/25: The upper loop of the Falls Trail will be under its annual winter closure beginning Saturday 11/29/25 as there is ice forming on the trail and prolonged cold in the forecast. This includes everything above Waters Meet and the Highland Trail. The upper portion of the trail will be closed to all except registered ice climbers and hikers who have signed in with the park office and have the required minimum safety gear of: Crampons (not micro-spikes), an ice axe, and rope.
The lower portion of the Falls Trail from Route 118 up to Waters Meet will be open to all for a little while longer and will close when ice begins to form there as well. This advisory will be updated once the lower portion is added to the closure.
