Property is very conveniently located, close to bus terminal, quick taxi to train station, lots of great restaurants in area. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of fresh options including hot dishes, overnight oats and toppings, yogurt and fresh fruit. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Also recommend nearby attractions like the Cork ghost tour and Sultan’s restaurant for great vegetarian food.

We really loved our stay at The Dean in Cork. The hotel had a fun, stylish feel and the room had several great touches. The shower was excellent, the minibar had a great selection, and we enjoyed using the vintage-style radio to connect our phone and play music. We also stopped by the rooftop for breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The location was very convenient as well, especially since it was only about a five-minute walk to the train station the morning we left. Overall, this was one of our favorite stays and we would happily stay here again.

The grounds, breakfast, and staff were wonderful and the building and decor were stunning.

Lovely hotel, brilliantly situated in centre of Cork

Average Hotel. The reception doesnt create a good first impression -a shabby office with frayed carpets. The room was OK, but old sash windows were broken and needed to be propped open with pieces of 4x2 wood offcuts. Parking is on a meter outside. I was expecting more. Breakfast was good in the small downstairs cafe which is part of the hotel. This hotel seems to be linked to another hotel on the seafront. The good restaurants in town are within easy walking distance, but you will need to book days ahead for a table, and some restaurants are not open every day.
