No handrails or bars on stairs to basement in the main house and steps to the deck are very slippery when wet. We had two people slip on the stairs. There...

"Our stay was amazing! Everything was just as described. Very accommodating and communication was great. The time away with the family was great. Board games and cooking in the kitchen was great. The movie night in the man cave was exceptional. We will look forward on returning for sure to be able to explore the outdoors when the season has changed!"

"This house was in a great location with awesome lakefront views while maintaining privacy, which is super rare for a lake property. I loved the historic charm and updates.The fall colors on the lake were incredible and a welcome sight to wake up to. A couple of notes that I did not pick up from the listing: the house is separated from the lake by a road and the boat house is in pretty rough shape, but this house was something special and we would recommend anyone to stay there."
